Easy Vegan Garlic Bread Recipe

- 4 tablespoon Vegan Butter, room temperature
- 2 Medium Cloves of Garlic, grated on a rasp grater see note
- 1 tablespoon Chives, minced optional
- ½ Pound Loaf of Ciabatta
- 2 tablespoon Follow Your Heart Vegan Parmesan
- Freshly Ground Black Pepper
Adjust an oven rack for that its the second from the top. Turn your broiler onto high or 500* depending on your oven. Do not line the baking tray with parchment as it may catch fire under the broiler.
In a small bowl, make the garlic butter by combining vegan butter, minced garlic and chives. Stir well.
4 tablespoon Vegan Butter, room temperature, 2 Medium Cloves of Garlic, grated on a rasp grater, 1 tablespoon Chives, minced
Slice the ciabatta in half lengthwise and place it cut side up on a a baking sheet.
½ Pound Loaf of Ciabatta
Using a spatula, spread the garlic butter evenly over each half.
Top each half with one tablespoon of vegan parmesan cheese, then top with black pepper.
2 tablespoon Follow Your Heart Vegan Parmesan, Freshly Ground Black Pepper
Place on the second from top rack under the broiler and broil for 2-5 minutes, checking and turning the tray after each minute. See note.
Serve warm.
If you don't have a rasp grater or microplane, no worries! Just mince your garlic.
Keep a close eye on your broiler! Things can burn really quickly, so be sure to check after 1 minute, then every 30 seconds after that.
To store: place the garlic bread in an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven or in a toaster oven.
