1 ½ oz Bourbon Whiskey, 1 tablespoon Fresh Lemon Juice, 1 tablespoon Maple Syrup
  • Pour hot water nito the mug and stir the cocktail. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and a lemon wheel and enjoy.
1 Cup Water, boiled, then slightly cooled, 1 Lemon Wheel, 1 Cinnamon Stick

Notes

For bourbon: I love to use Buffalo Trace or Four Roses Single Barrel Bourbon. But use what you like!
Cinnamon sticks are the most traditional garnish, but you can also use other whole spices like a couple of cloves or cardamom pods, a whole star anise, or a couple of slices of fresh ginger. Use whatever you like and have on hand!
