- ½ teaspoon Cinnamon
- 2 Medium Fresh Peaches, pitted and chopped into ½" cubes see note
- 1 tablespoon Butter I used Miyoko's plant butter
Combine maple syrup and cinnamon in a 10" stainless steel skillet over medium heat. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. See note! Allow the mixture to boil for 1 minute.
3 tablespoon Maple Syrup, ½ teaspoon Cinnamon
Add the peaches and cook for 2-4 minutes, stirring frequently. Cook them less if you want them to be on the firm side or more if you want them softer. Remove from heat and add the butter. Stir to combine and serve as desired.
2 Medium Fresh Peaches, pitted and chopped into ½" cubes, 1 tablespoon Butter
Do not use canned or frozen peaches for this recipe! They will be too soft.
When you bring the maple syrup to a boil, make sure you stir constantly so the cinnamon doesn't burn!
