Preheat oven to 350* F. Grease an 8 ½ inch x 4 ¼ inch loaf pan with coconut oil or pan spray and insert a parchment sling for easy cake removal.
In a medium bowl, combine flour, cardamom, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Whisk and set aside.
2 Cups All-Purpose Flour, 2 teaspoon Ground Cardamom, 1 ¼ teaspoon Baking Powder, ½ teaspoon Baking Soda
In a large bowl, combine sugar, canola oil, non-dairy milk, orange juice, apple sauce, orange zest and vanilla. Whisk to combine, then add the dry ingredients and whisk to form the batter.
1 Cup Granulated Sugar, ½ Cup Canola Oil, ½ Cup Non-Dairy Milk, ¼ Cup Orange Juice, 2 teaspoon Orange Zest, 2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract, ¼ Cup Applesauce
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and use a spatula to even the top out. Bake in a 350* F oven for 58-62 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool for about 30 minutes before glazing.
