Cardamom Latte
This Cardamom Latte recipe uses homemade cardamom milk instead of cardamom syrup so you can control the sweetness of your latte. Its quick, simple and delicious!

1 Espresso Maker such as: Nespresso, Moka Pot, etc
1 Small Saucepan
1 Small Fine Mesh Strainer
1 Milk Frother
2 Coffee Cups
- 1 ½ Cups Milk I used Oatly oat milk
- ¼ teaspoon Whole Cardamom Seeds see note
- 2 Shots Espresso each shot should be about 1.5 Ounces
- 1 tablespoon Sweetener of Choice Optional
In a small saucepan over low heat, combine milk and whole cardamom.
Bring to just barely a simmer, place a lid on the pot and remove from heat.
Allow mixture to steep for 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, put one espresso shot each into two coffee mugs. Add optional sweetener here.
After 5 minutes, pour the cardamom milk through a fine mesh strainer into a heat safe measuring cup.
Froth the milk and divide evenly between the two coffee cups.
Serve.
I used my Nespresso machine for the espresso, but you can use a Moka Pot or a traditional espresso machine, too.
Be sure to use whole cardamom seeds, not the pods or cardamom powder.
