Apple Cider Mocktail

This Apple Cider Mocktail is a non-alcoholic spin on a Moscow mule! It is a delicious and easy-to-make alcohol-free drink for Fall.

Equipment

  • 1 Copper Mug or Large Glass
  • 1 Wooden Spoon or Muddler
  • Measuring Cups

Ingredients

  • ½ oz Lemon Juice
  • 3 Slices Fresh Ginger, peeled
  • 4 oz Ginger Beer
  • 2 oz Apple Cider
  • 1 oz Club Soda
  • Crushed Ice see note!
  • Garnishes like: cinnamon sticks, sliced lemon and sliced apple Optional

Instructions

  • In the bottom of a copper mug or tall glass, combine lemon juice and ginger slices. Using a wooden spoon or a muddler, gently break up the ginger slices. Be really garful if using a glass!
    ½ oz Lemon Juice, 3 Slices Fresh Ginger, peeled
  • Add ginger beer, apple cider, and club soda to the mug. Stir gently, then fill the mug with crushed ice.
    4 oz Ginger Beer, 2 oz Apple Cider, 1 oz Club Soda, Crushed Ice
  • Garnish with a cinamon stick, lemon slices, or apple slices and serve!

Notes

I love crushed ice for this mocktail recipe. I don't have an ice maker, so I put some large ice cubes in a cloth bag and carefully crushed them with a mallet.
Be very careful if you are muddling the ginger in a glass!
