Ingredients

Cranberry Juice: This recipe calls for 100% cranberry juice, not cranberry juice cocktail! I like to use pure cranberry juice so I can control how sweet the cocktail is.
Gin: My favorite gin is Drumshanbo Irish Gin, but use whatever your favorite it!
Tonic Water: My favorite is Fever Tree Mediterranean Tonic Water.
Cranberries and Rosemary: Garnishes are optional, but they make the Cranberry Gin Cocktail feel so festive! And maybe you have a few cranberries leftover from making Orange Cranberry Sauce.
Instructions

Step 1. In a rocks glass, combine gin, cranberry juice, simple syrup, and tonic.
Gently stir.

Step 2. Add ice to the glass, then top with a few fresh cranberries and a sprig of rosemary.
Then, serve your Cranberry Gin Cocktail.
Recipe FAQs
Vodka, gin and tequila all pair well with the flavor of cranberry.
No! Tonic water is flavored with quinine and has sugar added to it, while club soda is just carbonated water.
Most people associate gin with the flavor of juniper berries, which have a pine needle flavor. But gin is usually flavored with other botanicals, such as citrus, angelica, herbs, spices like coriander, and even green tea leaves, too. The flavorings vary widely by brand of gin and country of origin!
Expert Recipe Tips
If you use cranberry juice cocktail instead of 100% cranberry juice in this Cranberry Gin Cocktail recipe, omit the simple syrup. Your cocktail may end up slightly sweeter than it is intended to be, but it will still be delicious!
