Ingredients
Vegan Butter: I'll go into my recommended butter brands below, but I used Soy-Free Earth Balance Buttery Sticks.
Agave Nectar: I recommend light agave nectar, which refers to the color.
Cinnamon: my favorite brand of ground cinnamon is Simply Organic.
Best Vegan Butter Brands
I have three favorite vegan butter brands. And I would recommend all three for this Vegan Cinnamon Honey Butter recipe.
First, for baking my top recommendation is Soy-Free Earth Balance Buttery Sticks. I like the flavor of the soy-free sticks better than the original.
These are great for any baking recipe, as they have a higher proportion of palm shortening, making them firm.
Second, I also like Country Crock Plant Butter Sticks for most baking. They taste great and preform well.
I do not recommend these for pie dough or biscuits or scones though. The Country Crock sticks are softer than Earth Balance Sticks, which makes them hard to cut into flour.
Third, for sautéing and spreading on toast, I love Miyokos Cultured Vegan Butter. The flavor is unmatched.
Method
This recipe only takes a few minutes to mix together. Here is how to do it:
First, allow the butter to soften at room temperature so its easy to mix.
Then, add the softened butter to a medium bowl with the agave and cinnamon and mix together. Until well combined.
And thats it!
You can use the Vegan Cinnamon Honey Butter immediately, or wrap it up to store it.
Variations
Instead of cinnamon, use a chai masala blend or pumpkin spice blend. Both of these options would be delicious!
Substitutions
If you have a vegan honey like this Bee Free Honey on hand, feel free to use it here instead of agave!
Uses
This Vegan Cinnamon Honey Butter is delicious on to many things! Here are just a few:
Spread it onto dinner roll or cornbread.
Use to top pancakes or french toast.
Or spread on regular toast or an english muffin.
Spread it onto a muffin like my Vegan Peach Coffee Cake Muffins.
Storage
To store, scoop the Vegan Cinnamon Honey Butter into an airtight container and place in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
I do not recommend freezing this recipe.
