Bananas: The bananas should not be overripe for this recipe. You want them just yellow with little to no brown! Save the brown bananas for Vegan Banana Cake!
Maple Syrup: I love to use maple syrup instead of brown sugar for recipes like Caramelized Apples and Caramelized Peaches. It adds so much flavor!
Cinnamon: I love the combination of cinnamon, maple syrup, and banana. But you can also use pumpkin pie spice.
Butter: I used Miyoko's Plant Butter, but use what you have on hand.
Instructions

Step 1. Combine maple syrup and cinnamon in a 10" stainless steel skillet over medium heat.
Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly.
Allow the mixture to boil for 1 minute.

Step 2. Add sliced bananas and cook, stirring occasionally, for 1-2 minutes.
Remove from the heat and add the butter. Stir to combine and serve the Caramelized Bananas as desired!
